This company is a leading global water technology company committed to developing innovative technology solutions to the world's water challenges. The Company's products and services move, treat, analyse, monitor and return water to the environment in public utility, industrial, residential and commercial building services, and agricultural settings.
The position is responsible for the UK and Irish market development and growth of product sales & services into the industrial and municipal water and wastewater markets.
The incumbent will be tasked with identifying & exploiting sales, opportunities, applications and support for all products and services (Cross Selling).
Main Duties and Responsibilities include:
To grow the sales of the air blower product portfolio and services within the industrial and municipal water and wastewater markets.
To grow the sales of the aftermarket services within the industrial and municipal water and wastewater markets.
Work with the UK Treatment sales team along with the generalist external sales teams to ensure above market growth rates within the identified markets.
To develop, apply and grow a sustainable Aftermarket & Service plan that supports the product portfolio and mirrors the best practise created in other areas of Treatment and meets the client's needs and expectations.
To develop and maintain existing / new customers and work in partnership with them to ensure maximum potential gain in share of wallet.
Work to position the portfolio well in respect of framework opportunities and other term supplier agreements.
Analyse sales data and arrange your activities in accordance with needs to grow the business within your identified areas of responsibility.
To liaise closely with other Area Sales Manager's and Field Sales Engineers to ensure cross-communication of ideas and successes and, where appropriate carry out joint visits to support Field sales Engineers to gain incremental business.
To produce timely and credible forecast information for Treatment sales and ensure key metrics and KPI are met and communicated.
To assist the sales team in proactively working to investigate and resolve account conflicts and escalate where necessary within the Treatment Dept.
To identify, develop and support any alliances / agreements with Main Contractors and/or JV's to gain leverage for products and / or services.
To establish and develop contacts within all levels of the customers including 'high level,' to meet, or arrange meetings for others, with these contacts such that our business direction and growth opportunities are identified and exploited.
Any other duties, within your capabilities, as required by Management
Any experience of working with generalist sales teams across Muni, Infra and Industrial
Must demonstrate a proven track record of a successful Sales role with extensive commercial experience and a sustained period in air solutions/handling or associated markets.
Experience of operating in a matrix environment.
Must have a good understanding of Windows based computer programs, in particular Excel.
Coaching and Mentoring skills.
Presentation skills - preparing and delivering to all levels to internal and external audiences.
Recognised mechanical and/or electrical engineering qualification such as a BTEC, C&G or degree qualification in engineering disciplines or qualified by experience
