They provide every stage of electrical and mechanical work from design and systems installation to maintenance and repair work. They currently operate in a wide variety of sectors including healthcare, commercial, education and local government. Utilising internal multi - skilled facilities and maintenance teams they are able to offer their clients a one stop shop for all FM and Maintenance services.
Your new role
Your new role is for a fire and Security engineer working within a Mechanical & electrical provider based from their site in Wiltshire. You will be servicing & maintaining Fire alarm & Intruder systems, Emergency lights, CCTV & Access control systems. Emphasis of work to be on Fire alarm systems & Emergency lights. As well as attending in-hours call-outs to Fire alarm & Intruder systems, Emergency lights, CCTV & Access control systems. You will also be required to attend out-of-hours call-outs to Fire alarm & Intruder systems, Emergency lights, CCTV & Access control systems on a rota basis.
What you'll need to succeed
To succeed in your new role you will need to have a broad knowledge of Fire alarm, Intruder systems, Emergency lights, CCTV & Access control systems desirable together with knowledge & familiarity with British Standard 5839. As well as being qualified to FIA Units 1 & 5 and ICEL (Industry committee for emergency lighting) qualified. Your previous experience in fire & safety will be a benefit to you and will allow you to flourish in your new role.
