Great opportunity to join an estabished business on a fixed term contract (18 months) as part of a project team rolling out several key digital/cloud-based business tools - HR software/Procurement Software & Accounting Software.

The post holder will:

  • With a proactive approach, provide a wide range of project support duties for and alongside the Project Manager to enable effective delivery of the Continuous Improvement portfolio
  • Gather analyse and evaluate data and information to provide direction on a range of project themes
  • Support with facilitation of meetings and workshops Coordinate and minute project meetings, ensuring actions are communicated and delivered as agreed, and escalate as required
  • Support the identification and mapping of processes and workflow in relation to As Is and To Be processes, requirements design, benefit management
  • Prepare and maintain project MI relating to project delivery, for review and approval by the Project Manager
  • Ensure coherent quality standards are in place including risk, issue and change management, budget management and project status reporting
  • Track monitor, escalate and report status of project plan deliverables
  • Establish and monitor document configuration management principles, ensuring that these are in line with the organisation's standards
  • Support timely and reliable communications in line with agreed communication plan
  • Participate in and provide support to testing (including generating test scenarios and carrying out testing routines)
  • Ensure all project documentation is produced and disseminated on time
  • Assist the Project Manager with resource planning
  • Prepare and collate status reports, project dashboards and other project related documentation as required
  • Provide administrative support to the Project Manager on all projects within the Continuous Improvement portfolio

Essential Requirements:

  • Project Management or equivalent qualification
  • Previously worked in a project environment
  • Excellent administration skills
  • Good track record of solving problems
  • Familiar with the concept of project life cycle and typical problems associated with deployment of projects
  • Proven track record of designing and producing status / highlight reports and management information
  • Good understanding of using MS Office tools in a project environment including MS Project, Word, PowerPoint & Excel
  • Experience of taking minutes from meetings and able to produce clear, accurate and timely notes
  • A driven, proactive person with the ability to work both independently and in a team
  • Excellent communication both orally and in writing, with colleagues, clients and external suppliers including producing
  • reports and preparing and organising meetings and presentations
  • Good organisational and time management skills including the demonstrable ability to prioritise workload and conflicting time pressures
  • Ability to work to deadlines
  • Willingness to travel across England
