Who we are:
For 21 years Brighton Oasis Project (Oasis) has delivered services for women with drug and alcohol problems and children affected by drug use in the family. We are an innovative, creative and forward thinking organisation, which aims to empower women, children and young people affected by substance misuse. We give help and hope to women and children affected by drug and alcohol problems.
About the roles:
This is an exciting new role funded by a Children of Alcoholics grant funding from Public Health England. Alongside direct service delivery you will be part of a project influencing change across Brighton and Hove in how children of alcoholics are supported. Young Oasis offers 1:1 therapy to children aged between 5-18 years. Too often the voices of children, who have experienced substance misuse issues at home are not heard and they can later go on to have difficulties, such as forming and maintaining unhealthy relationships.
