Customer Service Supervisor - Road Freight

A Customer Service Supervisor is required for a leading global logistics company based in Heathrow.
The successful Customer Service Manager will have a strong customer service background within a Road freight forwarding/transport environment, ideally Road Freight, and be able to promote an efficient & positive customer service culture that meets, and exceeds, the needs of their customers.
Circa £27-30K depending on experience
Monday to Friday 8.30am-5pm
20 days holiday plus 8 bank holiday days
Customer Service Manager Role:
Help to Lead, coach and develop a team of 17 customer service/ key account agents alongside the customer service manager.
Manage the Billing and Reporting
Responsible for the prioritisation and delivery of delegated tasks in parallel with daily working routines, as and when necessary
Develop and implement effective service procedures, policies and standards
Continuously track and analyse indicators of customer satisfaction to improve services
Take ownership of customer issues and follow potential problems through to resolution
Manage and maintain the long term satisfaction of our customer base, identifying areas of risk and ensuring retention.
Customer Service Manager Requirements:
Experience of working within a Road Transport/Road freight forwarding environment is ESSENTIAL
International courier experience would be highly beneficial
Experieicne as a Customer Service Manager in logistics/ transport or Freight Forwarding is necessary
Demonstrated ability to successfully manage customer relationships
Strong IT and Administration skills, with an ability to learn and navigate new applications
