The VP of Programming and Business Strategy is responsible for the vision, strategy, execution and bottom line of all Kripalu programming including Luminary, R&R, Schools and RISE. This role requires an innovative business builder with strong leadership capacity, financial and marketplace literacy, and understanding of the transformative aspects of experiential education. As a leader in the organization this position models both passion for and commitment to the execution of the organization's vision, mission, and values. This role sits on the senior leadership team and reports directly to the CEO. ACCOUNTABILITIES: Define and share the vision for curriculum and programming at Kripalu - Luminary, R&R, Schools, and RISE - that stewards the Kripalu experience and its legacy. Provide leadership in long-range planning, budgeting, curriculum, and program development to drive revenue growth, brand uniqueness, high guest satisfaction and mission impact. Work in alignment with the overall organizational business goals and department leaders to shape strategic programming priorities. Work with direct reports to plan, develop and implement the annual budget for each of their respective business units while keeping the overarching organizational goals and direction in mind. Define, set strategy and plan of execution of Kripalu owned programming. Ensure consistent quality standards in curriculum and programs, while developing new strategies to achieve business revenue growth goals, mission impact and field leadership. Inspire and develop team of business and faculty leaders. Create and support succession planning for administrative and faculty roles. Position Requirements ESSENTAIL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE: 10+ years of management experience in mid to large size organizations Master's degree or equivalent in adult learning and development, organizational development or related field Proven track record delivering on strategies and plans; ability to execute and drive revenue growth and mission impact. Deep and sustained personal practice for self-leadership Proven track record of success facilitating progressive organizational change and development within a growing organization. Demonstrates the ability to lead and inspire a team toward an aspirational vision while remaining calm, clear and connected. Experience with organization, business and program development and disruptive growth Demonstrated business and analytical skills to make data-driven decisions Proficient in P&L and budget management, and making tradeoff recommendations that yield the maximum return on investment. A working understanding of adult learning and development and the power of experiential education Exceptional written, oral, interpersonal and presentation skills.
