Responsibilities:

  • Conduct financial analysis and credit due diligence on Financial Institutions (Commercial Banks, Non-Bank Financial Institutions, Private Equity firms, Insurance Companies)
  • Analyze bank financial statements
  • Prepare cash flow projections
  • Author and present detailed credit reports and recommendations for senior management

Requirements:

  • 4+ years as a credit analyst with a focus on financial institutions and/or insurance companies
  • Proven experience incorporating vendor provided banking financial data into credit risk models for analysis
  • Proven experience using current market data and information (CDS spreads, Bank Ratings, News) as part of your research and analysis
  • Proven hands on experience integrating financial data directly into analytic models and spreadsheets
  • Strong technical application skills are required (Excel, Moody's Analytics, S&P Global, Fitch)
  • Exceptional oral and written communication and presentation skills required
  • Strong written skills required to concisely and clearly formulate credit applications for approval by credit committees
  • Experience in meeting clients and conducting due diligence reviews
  • Exhibit maturity and confidence in decision making
