My Thame based client is seeking an experienced and competent Payroll Officer to join their small team.

As a Payroll Officer your main responsibilities will be:

* Payroll - including running monthly and weekly payrolls, payroll administration, calculating sickness, running end of year;

* Running the weekly staff expenses;

* Production of annual P11ds;

* Updating car fleet information;

* Compiling and submitting Auto Enrolment information to pension provider;

* Compiling and submitting information to HMRC;

* Ad hoc duties as required by the Finance Team.

The successful Payroll Officer will have:

* Payroll experience;

* Sage Snowdrop KCS experience would be beneficial but is not essential;

* Excellent attention to detail;

* Flexible and well organised with the ability to work in an open plan office environment;

* Ability to handle confidential information with total and absolute discretion at all times;

* Good time management skills;

* A team player who is happy to take on other tasks or projects as required.

Payroll Officer - Working Hours: Monday to Friday 37.5 hours per week. 25 days holiday rising to 28 days, plus Bank Holidays.

Salary c.£27K dependent on skills and experience plus life assurance and discretionary bonus.
