Business in the Community create ground breaking campaigns and programmes allowing businesses to collaborate and help to action lasting change on a wide scale which benefits both business and wider society.
The Digital Editor is responsible for planning and delivering content across our core digital platforms. You'll be primarily responsible for overseeing the planning and delivery of all content across our core digital platforms - namely website ((url removed))- to meet BITC's overall objectives of showcasing BITC content that is relevant, engaging and of a high standard, underlining BITC brand positioning.
Writing and editing high-quality and engaging copy for our website and other digital channels, the ideal applicant will have an:
Understanding of communications and marketing and creating content relevant to different audiences
Knowledge of major online authoring packages (eg CMS software (ideally Drupal); HTML; CSS)
Understanding of best practice in website usability, user experience and accessibility is essential
The role will involve close collaboration with colleagues in the Communications team.
The role will play a key role on showcasing BITC's content that is relevant, engaging and of a high standard, underlining BITC brand positioning.
