Dispute Resolution Legal Secretary

A full-time Legal Secretary is required to support the experienced lawyers within a department pursuing dispute resolution cases. This role is based in the Guildford office and the hours are 9am to 5.30pm.

To be considered for this position, the candidate must have superior administrative and organisational skills, a real attention to detail and a "can do" attitude. Due to the nature of the work, the candidate must be able to work in a fast paced and busy environment, with the ability to balance tasks and prioritise accordingly as they will be working with a number of Legal Secretaries and their Lawyers with their filing, photocopying, court bundles and other administrative tasks. The candidate will also be providing direct PA support to the Head of Dispute Resolutions, this consist of telephone and email handling, filing, archiving, typing and post. Proactive diary management- meetings, conference calls and travel. Therefore, self-management is essential.
The successful candidate will demonstrate a track record of being a team player and will have good organisational and IT skills. Previous experience in a legal setting or experience is preferred.
