As FirstPort's Head of Business Development, you will contribute to our vision of being the leading residential property manager, as recognised by others by:
Leading a team of business development specialists, working with clients (developers, landlords, RMCs) on bids and proposals for new business
Developing external relationships to ensure that FirstPort is the property manager of choice for new and existing clients
Delivering exciting new business development opportunities for FirstPort including consulting and white labelling
This role reports to the Director of Business Development, Marketing and Communications and has up to 5 direct reports.
You are a high performer in a senior business development role, with significant experience delivering stretch growth targets and managing successful teams.
Having an understanding of the residential property sector means you can quickly build effective working relationships internally and externally.
Being an excellent communicator means, you can competently present your passion for business development to an outstanding level and gain trust from our customers.
Lead and develop a team of business development specialists, working with a wide range of current and prospective clients to create attractive and exciting proposals for FirstPort to manage their property management needs
Working with Residential Management Committees (RMCs) to ensure that FirstPort is regarded as the leading property management company to meet their needs
Working closely with other FirstPort teams on new business development opportunities including white labelling, Build to Rent and consultancy
Use external networks to increase FirstPort's client base and ensure that FirstPort remains the property manager of choice for new and existing clients
Ensure the business development team are high performers, setting and achieving stretching targets and meeting the business' growth objective
Create and maintain a suite of products to market to clients across all of our business areas (Property Services, Estates, Retirement, Luxury, Large & Complex, Build to Rent), with flexibility where necessary to meet clients' needs
As part of the senior leadership team, contribute to wider business projects and initiatives
