Planned Works Building Surveyor

The role will encompass managing planned works being carried out across the housing association's property portfolio including but not limited to:
* New kitchens and bathrooms
* Roof repair and replacement programmes
* Window replacement programmes
* Door replacement programmes
* Cyclical programmes including external redecoration
The planned works surveyor will be the first point of contact on all contract matters, developing and agreeing with contractors their individual service development plans, ensuring that the service delivered is fully compliant with the specification and contract. They will meet formally with each contractor every month, monitoring progress and agreeing any improvement plans as required.
To apply for the planned works surveyor role it is key that you have experience of managing large scale planned & cyclical works contracts and refurbishment projects together with a good understanding of maintenance on domestic properties. You will also need to be competent on the core Microsoft packages and have the ability to produce detailed reports, performance analysis and present data for various stakeholders.
