Leading Malaria Charity is looking for a bright, self -motivated individual to join it's UK fundraising team at a time when corporate support will be a key driver behind a plan that will see the charity double it's income and expand internationally enabling the charity to come closer to halving malaria across the Commonwealth by 2023 and reducing malaria by 90% by 2030.

This is an interesting role working with the Head of Fundraising and the Leaderhsp Team to design and deliver the charity's partnership delivery and new business plans . You will drive forward corporate income growth by designing and making highly targeted approaches to corporates and bulding a portfolio of medium to high value partners whic are committed to financially supporting the charity. You will: organise events and create and commission materials and proposals designed to engage new and business partners; monitor and analyse relevant industry trends and developments and identify networking opportunities; be responsible for all aspects of corproate account management and administration.

In general you will contribute to the overall development of fundraising and partnerships and be responsible for maintaining accurate support records. You will be self supporting in terms of administration and will be willing to contribute to the overall effectiveness of the UK office environment. You will represent the fundraising team in appropriate project teams, meetings and events as directed and carry out other adhoc duties that may be required.

The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years experience securing and managing income generating partnerships that have achieved outstanding results in the charity or commercial sector. You must have experience developing new business opportunities and maintaining a new business pipeline. You must have experience managing projects and have strong communication and interpersonal skills. You must be a confident networker and relationship builder and be able to rapdily build an inderstanding of and powerfully communicate the human impact of malaria. You must have excellent computer literacy and be educated to degree level.

You will be self motivated and have enthusiasm and a passionate commitment to working towards the charity's goal. You must also be excited about working for a small but ambitious organisation. A willingness to 'muck in' at busy times is essential and good organisation and time mangement skills are very important.
