Full-Time 37 hours per week, based at the Central Campus, Brighton

The Creative Industries department wishes to recruit an experienced arts educator who can provide high quality leadership for the Foundation and Extended Diploma Art and Design course teams. This curriculum area recruits on average approximately 250 students annually.

The successful applicant will have some management experience, ideally gained in FE as well as excellent subject knowledge of the creative sector. We would particularly welcome applications from candidates with outstanding skills and knowledge of either Fine Art, 3D, Illustration, Fashion and Textiles or Graphics. The teaching requirement associated with this Curriculum Manager post will vary year on year but is unlikely to exceed 10 hours per week. The successful applicant should have a high level of subject knowledge and experience of delivering at least one of the subject specialisms. Applicants should hold an academic qualification to at least degree level or a professional qualification equivalent in a relevant subject area and a full, recognised teaching qualification.
