Hours: 13.25 hours per week/ 30 weeks per year (0.43 FTE)
Salary: Up to £23,561 per annum, pro rata (unqualified teacher status)
Up to £34,571per annum, pro rata (qualified teacher status)

Eastleigh College is looking for an experienced Lecturer to teach learners with learning difficulties and disabilities within the Supported Learning Area of the College. The courses are for students in the age range 16-19 with moderate learning difficulties who want to continue developing their life skills and work towards employability and becoming more independent, confident and self-aware. The position will be teaching a fully supported course and the students and tutor are supported in the classroom by a Learning Support Assistant.
Ideally you will have experience of teaching students with moderate learning difficulties and a teaching qualification (Cert Ed, PGCE or equivalent), however full training can be offered to achieve qualified teacher status. Experience of multi strand teaching approaches coupled with high levels of differentiation within the classroom environment is essential.
You will be required to demonstrate excellent communication and organisational skills coupled with a strong commitment to develop the potential of all learners.
