Edelman has an opportunity for a Vice President to lead our talented and award-winning digital health team in DC. In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead and grow the Edelman DC digital health practice by shaping public health and policy campaigns, helping brands navigate some of their most challenging problems and advising clients on communications and marketing programs.. You are an experienced leader with deep digital expertise in the health sector including pharma, public affairs and issue campaigns, public health, health tech and corporate communications. You bring experience in leading integrated communications and marketing campaigns, have a demonstrated ability to build strong teams and client relationships.. Manage, mentor and develop emerging talent within the digital discipline and health practice.. Identify key strategic marketing opportunities for the digital health practice to increase new business leads, including identifying and participating in relevant conferences and industry events;. Actively manage existing client accounts including profitability, client budgets and expenses;. Lead new business efforts including prospecting, proposal writing and pitching;. Collaborate with the firm's senior leadership to develop business opportunities and operationalize programs for clients;. Play a major role in the research, planning and development of comprehensive digital and social programs;. Build and expand the DC digital health practice by selling Edelman services, leveraging current Edelman client relationships and your own contacts to increase the book of business;. Build strong relationships with clients as the senior client relationship manager;. Manage and motivate a dedicated team of health subject matter experts and collaborate with digital specialists in the areas of strategic planning, creative, technology, paid and analytics;. Exhibit broad understanding of digital health and public affairs, the latest trends, and changes in digital as well as government policies regulating the health care industry;. Qualifications:. Demonstrated success in identifying, initiating, and nurturing new or on-going business opportunities.. Experience leading and growing teams;. "Driver" personality that thrives in an entrepreneurial environment;. A demonstrated track record of developing and executing successful digital communications marketing programs and campaigns;. Relevant pharma, public health, public affairs, issue campaign and digital experience;. Bachelor's degree with 8 years of recent digital health, public affairs, or related experience with a focus on client management and business development;.
