Principal Water Engineer (M&E)
Posted on Jan 16, 2019 by Calibre Search
It is essential that you have experience of actively designing and running Industrial M&E design projects, ideally in the water sector, including water treatment plants and pumping stations.
The primary sector that this international consultancy operates in is water, so experience and expertise in this area will be particularly valuable for you, but knowledge in power, chemicals, production and manufacturing sectors is also welcome.
A key aspect of this role will be working to develop a broader team within Leeds and as such you will need to have had daily exposure to clients, and feel comfortable building and developing strong business relationships and work pipelines. While you will not be actively carrying out business development or completing tenders, any knowledge, contacts or the desire to do so will help you to catapult your career forwards and truly capitalise on joining this leading consultant.
Ideally you will have achieved Chartered Engineer status as an electrical or mechanical engineer and have had the opportunity to mentor and develop less experienced team members.
As a minimum though, you should be degree qualified in a Mechanical or Electrical Engineering discipline, have excellent technical knowledge with detailed knowledge of the Water industry sector and client focused, project management skills.
In return for your skills there is a well rounded package on offer including car allowance, excellent pension scheme, 25 days leave and healthcare.
