Team Leader x 2 - Rail Vehicle Heavy Maintenance
Take the lead with this brilliant opportunity to motivate a team of highly skilled Fitters and Electricians on a new 150 PRM contract at our Arriva TrainCare depot in Crewe.

What will this role of Team Leader - Rail Vehicle Heavy Maintenance entail?
As a Team Leader within Heavy Maintenance, you'll work on a Class 150 PRM contract, and will play the key role of leading a team of highly skilled Fitters and Electricians. Your duties will include but not be limited to:
* Liaising with the Project Engineer to ensure work programmes are implemented and technical problems are resolved
* Implementing customer requirements and assisting with continuous improvement innovations
* Ensuring the safe movement of vehicles, and the compliance of teams working to VMI's, VOI's and ATC work instructions
* Assisting in developing competence assessments for team members
* Mentoring and coaching team members to ensure job requirements are fulfilled
What will I need to be considered for this Team Leader - Rail Vehicle Heavy Maintenance role?
* Previous involvement with and understanding of rail vehicle heavy maintenance activities
* Time served mechanical and/or electrical engineer, qualified to a minimum of NVQ Level 3 in Engineering (or equivalent) ideally with Rail Traction and Rolling Stock
* Experience of leading a team and strong communication skills
* Good understanding of mechanical and electrical engineering and depot operations
* Knowledge of production efficiency techniques
* Driver operator / shunter assessment in a relevant class of vehicle (desirable)
What will I receive in return?
Salary: £35,276 per annum

Contract: 12-month fixed term contract, working 40 hours perk week Monday to Friday, 7am to 3:30pm (shift roster subject to change)
