Technical responsibilities include:
Technically manage System Centre Configuration Manager, MDT, Intune and related technologies
Support, improve, upgrade and maintain the System Centre Configuration Manager infrastructure
Design and development of Microsoft Windows 10 builds
Monitor related Service Desk calls and assist with resolving client service problems and disruptions. Identifies causes and resolution, escalating internally or to the respective vendor when necessary.
Management of the Windows and Mac Desktop estate - Image creation / Deployment / Patching / Remediation and Upkeep
Ability to juggle multiple, potentially conflicting priorities in high-pressure situations
Develop documentation that is accurate, including process flows. Create new documentation for all changes and enhancements.
Liaise with other teams to ensure the patching and hardening of perimeter systems
Work with team members to enable a smooth transition to cloud based services
Participates in information technology planning and analytical support by coordinating technical resources and efforts with other departments
Ensure proper disaster recovery and business continuity plans are in place and tested
Develop innovative solutions for improving the user experience, security, and management of desktops and laptops
Act as Desktop Subject matter expert (SME) to support strategic initiatives and tactical deployment
Analytical, structured thinker and problem solver
Strive for continuous improvement, proactive about root cause analysis and long-term viable solutions
To be considered for this SCCM Infrastructure Engineer/Administrator opportunity you must be able to demonstrate:
Subject Matter Expert experience in System Centre Configuration Manager
Track record and experience/oversight of Windows operating system migrations and will have migrated to Windows 10 from Windows 7 within an enterprise environment
Subject Matter exposure to Intune
Exposure in a cloud technology (Azure, AWS)
Knowledge of Office 365
Specialist in End User Computing standard/managed builds development, deployment and rollout.
Microsoft Active Directory, Group Policies, DNS and DHCP
1E Shopping and Active Efficiency (Beneficial)
Snow Licensing Manager & Automation Platform (Beneficial)
