We are leading their search for a Staff Nurse in Blythe in Northumberland; the home specialises in the provision of residential and nursing care is reasonable sized with 59 beds in total. The facility has won awards for its dedication to care and training and development opportunities.
The care provided within this home is specialist which means that NHS intermediate care is natural alongside having a general and palliative care ward they also provide specialist dementia care in which they have skilled dementia mapping experts and dementia champions on site.
With a long standing manager, university accredited training and development pathways, the company regularly comply to ongoing reviews, supervisions and 1-2-1 guidance you will also receive strong managerial support alongside support from a well versed and long standing staff nurse team assisted by a wealth of well-trained senior care staff.
You will be assisted by a clinical services manager, a home manager, two unit managers, an onsite clinical trainer, a clinical auditor, several staff nurses and highly trained senior support staff.

Reporting to the Clinical Manager as a Staff Nurse your duties are as follows:
" Complex assessments and pre assessments of residents coming onto your unit
" Family liaison
" Medication rounds
" Care planning, monitoring and implementing
" Delivering clinical advice and guidance
" Supporting new staff on your unit
" Delegating tasks to care staff on your shift
