This position is for the deputy lead for the Global Maintenance Management (GMM) thread of the Sustainment Vision 2020 (SV2020) effort. Responsibilities: * As GMM deputy, develop processes and complete initiatives to improve maintenance management across the Naval Aviation Enterprise (NAE) * Assist the GMM lead in accomplishing/completing task level detail of assignments associated with establishing a globally managed sustainment environment for the NAE * Develop processes to establish an integrated maintenance and supply chain * Provide coordination with other SV2020 teams * Collect, compile, analyze, investigate, research, or apply logistics, maintenance, acquisition, or financial data and information * Develop, modify, prepare, or validate documentation in relation to automated logistics or maintenance data reporting systems and management information systems * Evaluate, develop, implement, and sustain critical chain project management, drum buffer rope, across the Fleet Readiness Center (FRC) Enterprise * Assist the government in the development of training and evaluation of critical chain project management implementation * Develop high level briefings and metrics for senior leadership within the NAE * Perform various tasks related to the development, operation, evaluation, and improvement of weapon systems supportability and/or maintainability programs and information systems * Work on logistics and maintainability programs and with logistics and maintenance control organizations on issues such as: + Technical evaluation and identification of weapons systems logistics requirements and resources + Development of logistics support and maintainability programs or plans + Systems acquisition requirements analysis + Budgetary or financial analysis and control + Lifecycle cost analysis and control + Weapons systems hardware and software standardization and compatibility + Integrated Logistics Support (ILS)/Reliability & Maintainability (R&M) program test and evaluation planning and execution + ILS/R&M program management analysis Required Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree in Business, Science, Mathematics, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or other related field. + May substitute an additional four (4) years of acquisition or operational logistics management experience for degree * At least fifteen (15) years of experience in operational logistics support/maintenance engineering or a Society of Logistics Engineers (SOLE) Logistician certification as a Demonstrated Master Logistician (DML) plus six (6) years recent experience in acquisition logistics/maintenance engineering * Experience must include: + Eight (8) years supervising/directing at least two (2) acquisition/logistics managers in the performance of comprehensive analysis across the spectrum of ILS elements during a job assignment in or in support of an acquisition command * Experience must demonstrate the ability to perform independent work to provide logistics and support system effectiveness analysis, studies, and evaluations in support of DoD weapons systems and equipment * Organizational, Intermediate, and Depot level experience * Experience working with Higher Headquarters commands (CNAF/NAVSUP/DLA/COMFRC) to operationally align/integrate maintenance and supply processes across the NAE Desired Qualifications: * Senior level PMA/TYCOM/COMFRC staff experience Work Authorization/Security Clearance: * Must be a U.S. Citizen and able to obtain a Secret Clearance AAP/EEO Statement Andromeda Systems Incorporated is an Equal Employment Opportunity employer.
