Senior Residential Support Worker - Ditchling, West Sussex

Our client is an independent social care provider with an excellent reputation for providing high quality and tailored packages of care for young people with EBD in the 12 - 17 age range and they are currently recruiting for Senior Residential Support Workers for their residential children's home in Ditchling, West Sussex.

This is a leadership role, ensuring the care and welfare of each child and giving guidance and support to all Residential Workers. You will be responsible for staff supervision, leading shifts, ensuring placement plans are followed, policies, procedures, risk assessments and rotas are in place and education is supported.

Candidates must be experienced in this or similar field and working alongside children and young people. In addition, applicants must have Level 3 (or equivalent) Diploma in Children and Young People or an equivalent relevant qualification.

A full UK driving licence is essential.

The hours are to be worked on a shift basis to meet the needs of the business and require flexibility to include some evenings and weekends, on a rota basis including overnight duties.

The OTE salaries for the roles are £23,400 - £28,500 depending on experience.
