Sales Operations Director Americas Location Canonsburg, PA, United States Posted on Dec 18,2018 Apply for this job your email: upload resume: Profile Job Description: SUMMARY The Director, Sales Operations, Americas is responsible for the overall success of the operational aspects of the Americas sales function. Working collaboratively with the VP of Global Sales Operations, and as the right hand of the VP Sales, Americas, this position drives the implementation of the strategy of sales operations including planning, reporting, quota setting and management, sales process optimization, sales training, sales program implementation and sales compensation administration. RESPONSIBILITIES * Drive Organizational Excellence for the Americas Sales team in the following areas: * People * Organization, budget, compensation management and implementation, management training in collaboration with the headquarters team. * Any and all activities in support of the VP Sales, Americas related to people and in coordination with HR and Finance * Process * Go to Market Playbook Initiatives- Assembling best practices, creating repeatable processes, orchestrating resources in sales and marketing to roll out initiatives with targeting, tools delivery and tracking within sales * Operational processes oversight and management such as forecast and budgeting, territory assignment and account allocation * Sales execution processes in terms of creation, delivery and training for sales on methodologies for sales within the enterprise, strategic, territory and channel sales motions, from lead generation through all stages of the sales process, contracts and closure * Annual, quarterly and monthly planning activities * Drives operational efficiencies with the goal of helping sales sell bigger deals, faster in collaboration with marketing and sales enablement * Technology * Builds and implements tools for success within sales, within salesforce as well as other ancillary capabilities * Business driver of Salesforce.com for Americas, including all analytics and reporting, as well as key performance metrics reported to the sales leadership. Provides regular insight to management regarding pipeline changes, bookings and performance of the sales and services teams * Thought leadership and support for the VP Sales, Americas * Ambassador in fostering collaboration across ANSYS with all operations, engineering, marketing functional teams for initiatives and standard execution * Thematically capable of distilling key concepts and ensuring these lead to implementation that drives sales growth, more deals, bigger deals, faster cycles MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS * Bachelor's degree in business, sales, or marketing or equivalent training in business or sales management * 6 years of experience * Strong analytical skills and knowledge of sales metrics and sales cycle * Advanced working knowledge of Excel, Salesforce.com * Ability to think independently in a fast-paced environment * Excellent attention to detail, organization and problem-solving skills * Effective time management skills and ability to work in a proactive and team oriented manner * Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information at the highest level * Experience with a global sales organization PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS * MBA a plus * Experience in a technology or enterprise sales organization experience preferred * Knowledge of compensation tools a plus CULTURE AND VALUES Culture and values are incredibly important to ANSYS.
