Job Title Vice President, Product Management, Small Business Overview The Vice President, Product Management Small Business (SB) will lead the product and sales enablement activities, partnership strategy and new product development for the SB segment globally to ensure maximum penetration for Mastercard solutions. The successful candidate will be responsible for building new solutions and enabling and driving existing SB solutions through our regional product and sales teams and executing the SB partnership strategy globally. This role will partner across the firm to embed consumer and customer insights into our SB suite of solutions. In addition, the role will lead a team of product managers who on a daily basis define business, technical requirements and manage the relationships across the organization as well as working with regional product leads to develop and execute on the SB segment strategy to drive business growth. Role Specific SB Product Management responsibilities: * Provide global support, tools, processes to support regions with their SB growth efforts, responsible for: * Overall Partnership Strategy and Development o Strategy - Use Case and Business Models (Card and Non Card) o Partner Identification and Development o Partner Agreement, Regional Execution Plans o GTM Support * Bundling and Optimization Development and Support o Bundles Development/Research o PME review o Regional Adaptation and rollout * Enablement Support - Sales Tools and Training o Continue SB Segment Story Development o Regional Strategy/Alignment o Regional Execution Support * Thought Leadership/Best Practice Sharing o Key topic identification o Development and Execution plans o GTM/Rollout * NPD o Strategy o SB Research/needs o Technical design and development o Product requirements o Customer Validation * Engage with regions, markets, and account teams in responding to RFPs General Product Management responsibilities: * Become the key contact for global SB segment team between Advisors, Labs, Sales and other Product Teams * Drive the End to End SB segment strategy by being a global ambassador for SB * Look for synergies & opportunities to drive SB revenue growth * Partner with regional SB teams to execute against the global SB strategy by ensuring we have a set of enablement tools, thought leadership and partnerships as well as the right business model across stakeholders, and effective distribution opportunities * Package other MC assets within the SB value proposition to drive differentiation, market share gains, and revenue opportunities * Understand and help regions to leverage global best practices around product positioning and regulation - both with internal and external stakeholders. * Act as an expert, advocate and champion for the SB segment products to internal and external stakeholders * Lead a team of diverse product managers including coaching and developing employees, goal setting, and performance appraisal process. * Drive product management discipline including: managing the product value proposition development, product requirements, build out solutions with Labs & O&T, analyzing product economics, developing both internal and external engagement capabilities * Establish clear roadmaps, integrating and embedding MA assets to drive differentiation and innovation All About You Background in new product development and business development. Channel management and product management in the SB segment desired. Experience developing segment, product strategies, products and roadmaps required. * Proven track-record of success in bringing ideas from creation to execution * Strong execution skills, able to get things done through collaboration and influencing others * Previous people management experience in leading a high-performing team * Strong written and verbal communication skills, ability to present to customers and at conferences * Knowledge and experience working with/in global markets * Strong analytical skills with ability to drive deep product insights from data * Outstanding communication and presentation skills * Ability to take independent action and interact with varying levels of leadership across the organization and with internal and external clients * Approximately 30% international travel required * Undergraduate degree required.
