Global Supplier Services (GSS) is a group that encompasses all functions impacting the firm's relationship and life cycle with third party vendors - strategic sourcing, third party risk, accounts payable, supplier relationship management, and supplier diversity. GSS has approximately 800 employees with a pre-tax recoverable expense base of $140 million. In addition to staff budgets, GSS Finance is responsible for managing and influencing over $17 billion in third party vendor spend across all major expense categories (real estate, professional services, legal, marketing, travel, etc.) GSS Finance Group areas of responsibilities: * Financial budgeting, reporting, forecasting and analysis for Global Supplier Services * GSS wide efficiency reporting, analytics and strategy - including, but not limited to - location strategy, span of control, project and contract reporting and analytics * Creation of financial business cases supporting GSS initiatives * Firmwide supplier spend reporting and analytics * Developing and tracking performance metrics, creating presentations, and generally providing financial analysis on a variety of topics to senior management in GSS * 8+ years of professional experience, with a concentration in financial planning and analysis * Strong Microsoft Excel and Access skills * Experience with Essbase and VBA preferred * Bachelor s degree in Finance/Accounting * Solid understanding of key strategic frameworks/ financial concepts and application of same within the firm * Ability to develop, synthesize and present perspectives on key strategic/financial issues * Strong interpersonal and communication skills, creative thinker with ability to simplify concepts and create or oversee the creation of Powerpoint/Pitch Pro documents * Ability to work effectively with senior management and work well under pressure * Proven experience in a leadership capacity demonstrating project management skills/multi-tasking (e.g., balancing workload between short-term and longer-term projects) * Strong work ethic, leadership skills and a team player
