Information about JPMorgan Chase & Co. is available at ****************************** This is a VP level role within the FP&A team supporting the Data & Analytics organization The CCB Finance FP&A team is seeking a candidate with outstanding problem solving, solid understanding of Technology tools and infrastructure, financial savvy, influencing and relationship building skills to ensure top initiatives of the group are executed. The individual would be broadly responsible for the below: * Providing timely and accurate financial information for senior management decision making * Ensuring profitability goals are achieved, and * Explanation of results and variances Successful candidates will be expected to move up the learning curve quickly, maintain and enhance processes and relationships and be a key contributor to ensure CCB Data & Analytics goals and initiatives are successfully achieved. Responsibilities: * Primarily responsible to set up the technology tools governance framework for the newly formed Data & Analytics group * Hold biweekly meeting with Sr management and technology partners to review the tools usage, identify risks and issues, and demand management * Build and own the technology efficiency roadmap for Data & Analytics * Effectively partner with the technology, marketing, digital, intelligent solutions and other business teams to integrate respective roadmaps and identify synergies * Build and manage the technology tools inventory in partnership with data management technology * Identify efficiencies across various technology tools through demand management * Partner with technology, business and sourcing teams to execute on efficiency strategies identified and realize savings to the bottom-line * Systematic and accurate tracking and reporting of efficiencies, reinvestment, unfunded demand, infrastructure costs, productivity, vendor costs, forecasting and business allocations * Prepare presentations and supporting materials for senior management * Participate in ad hoc special projects as needed Thought Leadership * Demonstrate ability to drive discussions, shape solutions, and elevate the brand awareness of Data & Analytics through clear and consistent subject matter expertise within the projects in which you operate. This includes but is not limited to: * Technology industry acumen * Technology tools expertise * Technology implementation lifecycle expertise * Financial services industry acumen * Own overall project success, measuring performance against assignment charter * Demonstrate ability to structure, plan and execute problem solving against management s key investment areas, resulting in actionable recommendations * Maintain familiarity with industry trends / best practices to stimulate creative problem-solving * Take leadership in adjusting approach or focus as new insights are generated * BA/BS in Finance, Economics, Accounting or related field with 7 years of related experience; professional designation or advance degree (MBA) a plus * 3+ years of consulting experience (management or internal consulting) handling change management and business process transformation projects * Technical skills: Solid understanding of various Technology tools, including Big Data platforms, analytics and visualization software such as Cloudera, Hortonworks, Informatica, SAS, Alteryx, Tableau etc * Experience in financial services industry required * Experience in the Technology domain is required * Executive-level communication experience * Understanding of the finance and accounting concepts, and the ability to comprehend and clearly communicate complex concepts in a fast-paced, dynamic environment * Team player who can work across numerous teams, and deal with demands of senior management. At times, the job may require the candidate to work on unpredictable and constantly varying subject matter of projects * Strong judgment, professional maturity and personal integrity, strong work ethic, proactive and results-oriented, fact based, has the courage to ask the tough questions and challenge the status quo and manage multiple tasks simultaneously * Confident and personable attitude with the ability to face off with senior management at all levels, influence/handle difficult messages, and resolve conflicts
