Human Resources Service Delivery (HRSD) is a best-in-class global HR service delivery organization of approximately 650 people, servicing the entire global population of JPMC, currently totaling over 240,000 employees worldwide, in 60 countries. HRSD provides vital services in the area of Payroll, Time and Absence, HR Call Center (accessHR), Employee On and Off Boarding, Data Management, Benefits Administration and Project Management. HRSD supports the firm in achieving its strategic priorities by leveraging the core principles that define the group's culture and provide the basis for planning and decision-making in all areas: Superior Employee Experience; Operational Excellence; Efficient Global Coverage and Commitment to our People. The HR function is embarking on a global initiative to simplify, digitize, and integrate HR services, centered on the employee experience.This is a multi-year transformation that will involve re-defining processes to enhance talent management, recruiting, compensation, workforce management and others, while replacing several dozen HR systems that will result in more integrated and simplified HR infrastructure.As part of this initiative, the North America HRSD organization is seeking candidates to fill a lead role in their Time & Absence team. Incumbents selected for this new role will act in a key project role in the Time & Absence work stream as well as be responsible for operations/BAU work as this project transforms underlying processes and infrastructure across HR.We are seeking candidates with the skills to contribute to this significant global HR initiative and have strong interest in developing their careers through the Time & Absence and related disciplines. Role Summary The HRSD Time & Absence VP role will report to either the HCM Program Global Time & Absence Process Leader or the North America Payroll Leader.Depending on skills and experience level, the incumbent will lead, drive and/or support project areas, planning activities, design work, testing, communications and implementation activities associated with this large program.In addition, the incumbent(s) will lead and manage one or more areas within the NAMR Time and Absence organization, managing the transition from current state to future-state processes, systems, and work changes, while continuing to operate these areas in a way that support highest quality service delivery to over 180,000 employees. The ideal candidate will have skills and experience to deliver in a large scale operation as well as work in a dynamic project environment, driving for results with strong collaboration skills and focus on our clients. Responsibilities Own and lead one or more areas within the North American Time & Absence Operation, representing that area in the HCM Program, and ultimately transitioning into a key Lead Operations role in BAU Lead and work with teams to develop project work products including process design, business requirements, decision support white-papers/presentations, data maps, solution options with detail, and other project documentation Undertake research and analysis, and formulate conclusions and recommendations that contribute to and/or make design decisions in support of future-state model for Time & Absence Support all facets of solution and process development all the way through to process and system testing, final team Standard Operating Procedures, and risk and controls to ensure future state operational readiness Lead and work with project team members to make progress on all action items resulting from Time & Absence project meetings as needed Partner with HR Operations and external contacts in all regions to solicit ideas, leverage learnings, to build stronger more effective operations Knowledge, Skills and Qualifications Process-oriented; thinks of work in process terms, thinks end-to-end, has strong analytical skills Operations-oriented; has experience in Operations focused in a delivery area requiring highest accuracy Act as a business person, demonstrating full ownership, delivering outcomes in a sustainable way with appropriate controls Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple competing priorities; follows through work to full completion Possesses a sense of urgency and bias for delivering results; positive contributor who pitches in to get work over the finish line Has solid understanding of project work and is familiar with project management life cycle Effective interpersonal skills and relationship building with employees at all levels Excellent written and verbal communication skills Proactive communicator, engages others, ensures both progress and issues are communicated Possesses sound judgement, recognizes when to escalate, appropriately challenges for clarity and business need Is not deterred by barriers, is resourceful and stays focused on end goal Experience in Payroll, Time and/or Absence is an definite asset; some areas of responsibility in the organization will require 5+ years' experience in Payroll, Time & Absence and/or Workforce Management Not ready to apply?
