The Regional Sales Director will be a strategic leader and business partner working cross functionally with various departments. Responsibilities The Regional Sales Director's (RSD) responsibility will be the development and management of a designated region and the personnel within the region with a goal of maximizing product promotion through customer engagement. This role is responsible for leading, directing and managing activities of designated Territory Sales Managers within a specific geographical area. The RSD is responsible for leading his/her team to the achievement of established key business objectives. They will participate in national, regional, and local strategic meetings, as well as, lead meetings with their respective team. The RSD will be a strategic partner to the management team supporting a product portfolio with a wealth of support data and very strong IP for the product and product formulation. Key Job Responsibilities : (Duties may include, but are not limited to the following) • To lead, manage and develop the skill sets and overall performance of the region• Regional travel will be required• Hire, train, develop and coach Territory Sales Managers• Develop and implement approved business plans to contribute to overall project success• Achieve organizational objectives through effective leadership of sales team• Effectively lead and implement the approved marketing plan with the team• Effectively identify/monitor multiple local market conditions and build strong customer relationships• Personally influence and interact with the opinion leaders within the region.• Monitor all field activities to make certain all are within compliance guidelines• Provide feedback on marketing tactics and market conditions to senior leaders Job Requirements • BA/BS degree Required Business or Life Science degree preferred MBA is a plus• 10+ Years of Life Sciences experience• 3+ Years of successful sales leadership experience• Therapeutic experience in Pediatric, Nutritional and/or Allergy is preferred• Experience selling a new concept to key influencers is strongly preferred• Demonstrates a proven and consistent track record of success in leading a team to drive exemplary results• Ability to understand complex science and clinical data, but with ability to explain/communicate in a clear and simple manner• Experience developing strategies to increase market share and align with short and long term corporate objectives• Monitor competitor activity and competitors' products, ensuring information is fed through the sales channels• Analyze sales data to improve results and make sure field resources are effectively utilized and managed• Manage corporate budgets for the District within company guidelines Benefits: Health, Dental, Vision and 401K match Make your work matter everywhere.
