Our next Regional Sales Director can be located in PA, NJ, NY, MA, or MD.. Your Impact: Identify new revenue streams, penetrate group purchasing organizations, integrated delivery networks and hospital accounts. Maintain and grow existing business within the Northeastern territory; attend tradeshows and client appointments as needed within the Northeast Territory.. Youre Accountable For:. Implementation of sales strategies, techniques and tactics resulting in increased market share within a designated territory. Meeting and exceeding sales objectives for daily activities and behaviors. Identifying potential new business opportunities to grow revenue through daily prospecting and connecting with Pharmacy Directors, Pharmacy Buyers, Supply Chain Managers and Chief Financial Officers at hospitals and health systems. Maintaining existing account relationships to expand upon current business and generating leads for referral business. Keeping current on industry trends that may impact the business and revenue objectives of the company. Establishing clear goals for yourself and monitoring your performance and progress daily. Attending industry tradeshows and networking events as necessary. Maintaining constant communication with the sales and marketing department to assist them in their efforts. Participating in weekly meetings with the Head of Sales to discuss prospecting efforts, new business initiatives and existing account activities. Proficiency in contract negotiations, Request for Proposals (RFP) processes, and multi-location sales strategies. Participating in training sessions as outlined by the Company. Traveling as dictated by business needs. Meeting regularly with other departmental managers to communicate any sales efforts that may impact the business. Expense Management. Successful Pharmers Have:. Prior experience selling into Integrated Delivery Networks, Group Purchasing Organizations and hospital markets. Willingness and ability to cold call prospective leads. Ability to effectively manage and develop assigned territory. Aptitude to successfully manage a robust sale pipeline of opportunities. Successfully demonstrated the ability to work from a remote location. Working knowledge of maintenance and reporting using a CRM database, specifically SalesLogix. A complete working knowledge of the reverse distribution industry including:. An understanding of pharmaceutical laws impacting the industry. The most pertinent being the laws concerning the destruction of expired goods and the transfer of ownership of controlled substances. Knowledge of all services available to pharmacies. Our Next Pharmer Needs to Have:. At least eight years of successful sales experience, a minimum of 3 years of B2B sales experience. A Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience. Experience selling into a multi-state region. Prior knowledge developing and presenting request for proposals and high-level contract negotiations. Proficiency in communicating with a variety of decision makers. Experience documenting activities throughout the sales process in a CRM software suite. Willingness to travel for networking events, trade shows or client presentations, travel expectations are at least 50% within your designated territory which includes but not limited to: Maine, Vermont, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, New York, Pennsylvania, Connecticut, New Jersey, Delaware, Virginia or Maryland..
