Job Summary: - Provide finance coverage and support to Investment Management Information Technology group and departments Senior Business Managers, Technology COOs & CIOs as well as Business COOs - Drive detailed input into global budgeting/forecasting process, working extensively with Technology Finance systems and tools - Ensure correct accounting of labor, applying capitalization guidelines (SOP98-1), and understanding/explaining variances as part of the month end process - Prepare reporting of monthly/quarterly financials for both Technology providers and receivers and present insights to BMs, COOs and the CIO in a consolidated and standardized fashion, enabling key decisions and actions - Work closely with Business Managers and COOs to ensure technology groups meet their financial targets during the year, and throughout the forecast/budget process. - Provide comprehensive financial advice & expertise; financial management support, including strategic and tactical business support - Prioritize multiple deliverables and clients with competing initiatives, along with the ability to work under client demands and strict time constraints - Understand how to retrieve, manipulate and interpret data from multiple tools to facilitate decision support for both providers and receivers - Manage relationships and partner effectively with the global IT finance teams as well as Corporate FP&A - Derive labor rates (both compensation and consulting) during Budget/Forecast Cycles as well as reviewing/updating fully loaded rates in Finance Systems in collaboration with the Finance IT support team - Review and signoff on monthly results and provide senior management with monthly actual flash results and commentary - Look for opportunities to improve or streamline existing processes and reporting Qualifications: - Bachelors degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, MIS or related field, with 5+ years of experience in Technology Finance, Technology Business Management or relevant experience - Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present finance technology concepts in a concise executive level summary to senior management - Experience with financial reporting and forecasting; financial/budget management - Strong technical skills, especially in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, to manage large volumes of data into meaningful insight - Effective delivery and time management with ability to deliver quality product consistently under tight deadlines - Poise and ability to act calmly and competently in high-pressure, high-stress situations - Must be a critical thinker with strong problem-solving skills - Excellent analytical skills, able to manage multiple projects under strict timelines, work well in a demanding dynamic environment and meet overall objectives - Strong interpersonal and relationship management skills - High degree of initiative, dependability and ability to work with little supervision Share Bachelors degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, MIS or related field, with 5+ years of experience in Technology Finance, Technology Business Management or relevant experience - Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present finance technology concepts in a concise executive level summary to senior management - Experience with financial reporting and forecasting; financial/budget management - Strong technical skills, especially in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, to manage large volumes of data into meaningful insight - Effective delivery and time management with ability to deliver quality product consistently under tight deadlines - Poise and ability to act calmly and competently in high-pressure, high-stress situations - Must be a critical thinker with strong problem-solving skills - Excellent analytical skills, able to manage multiple projects under strict timelines, work well in a demanding dynamic environment and meet overall objectives - Strong interpersonal and relationship management skills - High degree of initiative, dependability and ability to work with little supervision
