Vice President & Chief Architect, UnitedHealthcare Provider Architecture. The Chief Architect is responsible for the integrated roadmaps for the UnitedHealthcare (UHC) Provider domain representing all architecture disciplines. They are responsible for leading business, portfolio and solutions architecture and will also have responsibilities for other parts of UHC architecture. Core responsibilities will include:. Create a consolidated architecture roadmap for Provider for UHC and represent segments where appropriate. Approve and communicate all UHC specific architecture standards including reasons for the variance from segment standards. Partner with all disciplines, represent the business viewpoint/interests for all the enterprise architecture disciplines (infrastructure, application, security, data, business architecture) in standards/governance maturity discussions. Provide architecture leadership when selecting tools and setting standards in Provider discussions. Assist in maturing enterprise architecture management practices. Provide a UHC perspective in setting technology standards for UnitedHealth Group. Own the UHC Provider technology architecture review process related to capital programs to ensure roadmap alignment. Take a cross-functional perspective of the architecture and how it fits the business. Ensure compliance with architecture standards. Participate in leadership discussions regarding new technology introduction or enterprise system planning activities. Approve all 3rd party engagements for technology fit. Provide direct leadership to the teams that are accountable for business architecture, portfolio architecture and solution architecture.
