ICT Support TechnicianResponsibilities:
As an ICT Support Technician, you'll be operating within the ICT department, delivering on all related company objectives by providing technical expertise in the design, development and support of the companies ICT infrastructure.
You'll be working closely with the Group ICT Solutions Manager to ensure reliable, cost effective ICT business solutions are implemented to provide a secure, reliable and modern ICT infrastructure. Your responsibilities will also include:
-Support staff in the in the appropriate use of ICT within the business
-Provide technical support by way of assisting with the resolution of ICT related problems
-Ensure workload and priorities are managed effectively using the department helpdesk tool
-Responsible for the general maintenance of ICT equipment throughout the organisation
-Assist with the deployment of computer related hardware throughout the organisation
-Liaise with external suppliers and manufacturers to provide a high level of service
The ideal ICT Support Technician:
In order to be successful for this ICT Support Technician position, you will need to be highly ambitious, confident and possess previous experience ideally within a similar environment. You will also be required to have the following skills:
-Standards and quality driven
-Eye for detail
-Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
-Motivated by a passion for quality and great service delivery
-Interpersonal, administrative, and organisational skills
-2+ years' experience in a similar role
-Work well in a team and support other members of the business
Additional company benefits at Vospers:
Salary Expectation - from £20,000 to £25,000 dependant on experience.
Location: Plymouth, Marsh Mills
Annual leave: 22 days a year plus 8 days bank holiday
