My client is a market leading design and manufacture or purpose-built test equipment supporting a range of applications. They are looking for an Applications Engineer to join their growing team, this role is offering great support and the chance to be part of a great organisation working with some fantastic clients.
The role is varied, and the responsibilities of the successful Applications Engineer are:
Offer technical support and guidance to both customers and employees
Involved in creating bids proposals from concept based on technical product knowledge
Dealing with commercial bid responses for a global territory
Business development involvement, helping create new projects
Advise customers and employees on product, pricing and competition
The package on offer is very competitive with company benefits and a salary of £30,000 to £40,000 dependant on experience. The Applications Engineer will play a key role in the current and future business supporting our global sales team and customers.
The ideal candidate will have, a degree education or engineering qualification with a good understanding of materials engineering or science. My client offers a great support network and look to grow individuals internally, so a future career is something to consider when applying for this position.
