Job Title Required: = Development Engineer
Out Line of Key Requirements for the Job/Role: = Currently seeking to recruit a Development Engineer to join the growing team delivering specialised projects.
Duties: = As a development engineer, you will be involved in the development and optimisation of suspension systems for customer vehicles, as well as in-house projects, utilising Company chassis development rig and proprietary software. You will be involved in the optimisation of grip for specialised car suspension to many other categories and you will be involved in the optimisation of road car suspension for performance, comfort and grip.
You will also be involved in the development and optimisation of suspension products, including dampers, springs, etc. using the same techniques. Knowledge of suspension design would therefore be a distinct advantage as would an understanding of hydraulic systems.
This is a customer facing position, you can expect to be independently working directly with customers most days. Presentation skills and confident speaking are therefore essential, and the successful candidate will be comfortable in this high-pressure environment.
Qualities Required: =
If you have ten (10) years' experience in a similar or related position within the automotive industry, an Engineering degree or equivalent and have the drive to reach challenging goals, this position should interest you. It is expected that candidates will have a background in suspension design or similar experience.
Job Title Required: = Design Engineers & Technicians - Suspension/Structural
Out Line of Key Requirements for the Job/Role: = Currently seeking to recruit Suspension Design Engineers with a range of skills to join the growing team delivering motorsport and niche vehicle projects.
Duties: = As a suspension engineer, you will be involved in the concept and development of suspension systems, ranging from packaging and structural requirements to the detail design, modelling and drafting of precision components. You will be involved in projects through all stages of production so should be familiar with production and development methods. Knowledge of suspension design and optimisation would be a distinct advantage as would an understanding of hydraulic systems design. The role will include the creation, sign off and release of technical drawings for components and assemblies as well as BOM creation, component validation and customer interface.
Qualities Required: = If you have three (3) years' experience in a similar or related position within the automotive industry, an Engineering degree or equivalent and have the drive to reach challenging goals, this position should interest you. It is expected that candidates will have capability in either NX or CATIA CAD systems. Candidates should also be familiar with typical product development and part verification systems (e.g. FMEA, PPAP etc.).
Key Qualifications Required: =
Minimum HNC/HND third level qualifications.
Preference will be given to candidates with Degree level in Mechanical Automotive Engineering

Project Buyer
Location: Thetford, Norfolk,
Position Overview
Sourcing, negotiating and procurement of goods and services to ensure that major project requirements
are met taking into account, price, quality and delivery. These activites will be undertaken in conjunction
with development and maintenance of a project Bills-of-Materials, tooling requirements and associated 3rd
party services, including Full Service Supply engineering contracts.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Purchase goods, materials, components or services in line with specified cost, quality and delivery
Targets
Support the purchasing function and other relevant departments and communicate any supply
problems which may impact on the project
Act as an interface between suppliers and other relevant engineering and program departments
Provide analysis on costs, new and existing, and review cost reduction activities
Identify and evaluate supply chain risk whilst developing robust risk mitigation strategies where necessary.
Prepare reports and updates as and when required
Work closely with others in the procurement function and review opportunities for continuous improvement and business improvements
Negotiate contracts, improve prices and terms of business with suppliers and review opportunities
to make project savings utilising negotiation and procurement best practice tools and methods
Prepare and raise purchase orders and order schedules
Build, maintain and manage supplier relationships and keep up good communications
Ensure that a professional and consistent approach is taken in relation to all supplier relationships
Ensure compliance to company guidelines, purchasing policies and procedures during supplier negotiations and contracts award process.
Conduct research for new components and suppliers and prepare supplier nominations, taking into
consideration the commercial constraints relating to the relevant project.
Compile data relating to supplier performance to enable evaluation
Assess and evaluate suppliers and contribute to performance reviews to ensure contract compliance
Contact suppliers to resolve price, quality, delivery or invoice issues
Support and adhere to policies, procedures, and operational guidelines related to established quality management system
Maintain a working knowledge of safety policies and regulations to ensure duties of self and others are performed in a safe manner.
Additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications:
Minimum 3 years working in procurement environment within the engineering/manufacturing sector
ONC, A Levels, City & Guilds Level 3, BTec National Diploma Level 3 or
equivalent NVQ level 3 qualification
Good knowledge of purchasing, negotiation, commercial understanding and cost breakdown
Computer literate, with advanced Excel skills/abilities
UK Driving Licence
Working Hours = 0800 - 1700 Mon - Fri
Term Work = Perm or 6 + month contract
Salary Range = Attractive Salary & Benefits - Depends on Quals & Experience
Job Title Required: = Structures/Analysis Engineer
Out Line of Key Requirements for the Job/Role: = Currently seeking to recruit Structures/Analysis Engineer with a range of skills to join the growing team delivering motorsport and niche vehicle projects.
Duties: = As a Structures/Analysis Engineer you will be responsible for carrying out all phases of assigned analysis projects. This will involve finite element modelling, results review, hand calculations, report preparation and presentation to support our divisions and outside customers. The engineer will work closely with other members of the team, including other analysis engineers, design engineers, manufacturing personnel and customers. You will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of analysis projects, from OEM components and mechanisms (ABAQUS, Optistruct) through to full vehicle structural analyses (ABAQUS, LS-Dyna) and vehicle dynamics (ADAMS)
Qualities Required: = If you have experience in a similar or related position within the automotive industry, an Engineering Degree and the drive to reach challenging goals, this position should interest you. It is expected that candidates will have worked with an analysis package (preferably HyperWorks, Abaqus, Matlab or ADAMS). Candidates should be able to demonstrate a strong engineering aptitude and problem-solving skills. Key Qualifications Required: =
Minimum HNCHND third level qualifications.
Preference will be given to candidates with Degree level in Mechanical Automotive Engineering
Perm or Long Term Contract (6 + Months) : = Perm or pos Contract roles
