A market leading packaging company is seeking an Engineering Administrator to join their team in Hampshire.

Your new company
The aim for the business is to become the UK's number 1 supplier for any and all packaging requirements, across every market sector. All their products are bespoke and manufactured on site in their purpose built production facility. The company produces almost any form of polythene packaging including Shrink Film, Pallet Covers, Polythene Bags, Scaffold Wrap and much more. Despite significant growth over two generations, the original emphasis on customer service has remained their primary objective.

Your new role
As an engineering administrator, reporting to the Operations Project Manager, you will be the primary person responsible for the day to day administration of the engineering department. You will develop and implement manual and computerised systems to:

1 Record and track routine PPM maintenance and unscheduled repairs.
2 Manage spare parts and consumables usage, stock levels and stores.
3 Analyse machine breakdowns and spares usage.
4 Raise, issue and expedite Purchase Orders for engineering requirements.
5 Record and track engineering equipment assets including equipment calibration and certification.
6 General administrative duties such as updating O&M procedures, manuals etc.

The engineering department that you will work in plays a vital role in improving production line efficiency, development and progress of manufacturing and engineering processes.

What you'll need to succeed
An excellent team player but able to work autonomously, you will possess at least 5 years experience and detailed knowledge of maintenance planning and administration. Exceptional knowledge and capabilities in the use of Microsoft Office in particular Excel spreadsheets.

What you'll get in return
5 years in a similar role with a minimum of City and Guilds in an Engineering discipline. Skills: Computer literate, stock control and stores experience, organised, basic safety, technical understanding, judgement, attention to detail.
