As the Solution Architect you will be responsible for the solutions within a product area, driving the product roadmap, evaluating new technologies & tools, ensuring solutions are secure and compliant to architecture & standards and promoting best practice within the teams.
Other responsibilities would be to provide expertise in driving forward solutions for applications, ensuring alignment with the business and technical strategic vision and goals. Ensure best in class solutions that minimise customisation, through Solution design that integrates world-class applications. Support the business in understanding and interpreting the capabilities within a specific domain, ensuring design is consistent with the architecture and meets both functional and non-functional requirements.
As the successful candidate you will have a experience of defining technical solutions for Digital Products along with experience of building and communicating solutions options and influencing stakeholders. Proven track record of architectural design and documentation at the solution level, working across the architecture domains (business, data, applications and technology) within a relevant business domain role in a specific area of architecture expertise.
You should also be able to demonstrate your experience in Solution architecture specially around application development, enterprise integration, service definition and Service-Level Agreements, IT infrastructure and migration planning
Educated to degree level or equivalent experience with Recognised architecture qualification and TOGAF level 1 certification are highly desirable.
Clear communication skills, able to explain in both technical & non-technical language. Experience of leading delivery teams and supporting them to ensure delivery of secure and compliant solutions.
This role may require travel and working from multiple sites/locations. Willing and able to travel to participate in meetings, workshops, and other related activities.
