Job Title; Business Development Manager

Salary; £60,000 - £65,000 per annum + bonus

Location; Loughborough, Leicestershire

Our client is seeking a Business Development Manager to join their international engineering company based in Leicestershire. The individual will be accountable for managing and cultivating new business opportunities, with a clear focus on developing long-term business partnerships with their Aerospace clients. The individual will focus on analysing customer needs to create a full solution from the company's product portfolio.

This successful candidate will be responsible for building valuable solutions and increasing revenues through renewable business relationships.

***The role is remote/home-based the individual will need to spend 2/3 days at the Loughborough site with regular international travel

The Business Development Manager Role;

* Develop and grow relationships with key customer and industry stakeholders in support of target sales

* Identify and win projects with tier 1 and 2 Aerospace customers

* Identify and secure new business opportunities in line with the wider product strategy

* As part of the team contribute to and support the wider strategic direction and decision making process

* Lead on the key customer interface for all aspects of business development, account management and after sales

* Identify and qualify clients by establishing a sales/business relationship to ensure an active and continuous new and expanded business pipeline that exceeds strategic, long term, annual, and quarterly targeted sales projections

* Accountability to maximise target revenue and generate long-term leads through needs analysis

* Participate where possible in organisations directly involved with their prime markets and continually work to improve sales techniques and sales knowledge

* Experience in the Aerospace sector

* Strong communication and presentation skills, coupled with the ability to generate new sales
