Overview A critical priority for Asset Management is to ensure that high-quality data is available to run our business and meet our clients' needs. The Asset Wealth Management (AWM) Chief Data Office (CDO) defines AWM's data strategy and support for the core data used across AWM and needed to run our business, such as client data, reference data, product data, securities and pricing data, transactions and holdings, and index data. The AWM CDO is positioned in the Asset Wealth Management Operations division, within AWM Center. We work with the AWM business and Firm wide CDO to analyze data, ensure data governance and data quality standards are in place, look for efficiencies in business processes, and work with our technology partners to implement solutions. The Strategic Program Data Sourcing Program Manager will be responsible for management of the implementation and coordination across all stakeholders for the execution of AWM CDO's overall Data strategy for production, distribution and consumption of golden source data sets from systems of record/authoritative data sources via the target state AWM technology Data Platform as a top priority. Specifically, this role will focus on WM strategic initiatives related to Chase Wealth Management integration including the new WM Managed Accounts trading platform. The Strategic Program Data Sourcing Program Manager will collaborate with WM Business Management and Technology (including associated Program Managers), Application Owners, Information architects, CDO data executives, data stewards to lead the overall planning and program execution of data production and distribution supporting CWM system integration and managed accounts platform from authoritative data sources to meet business requirements. Specific areas of focus include: 1) Data Adoption Planning - Working with PMs on WM strategic programs (focus on CWM integration and strategic Managed Accounts platform) to understand detailed data requirements in scope for the AWM Data Platform (AWM Data Reservoir / Enterprise Data Platform Interface (EDPi) to provide. 2) Data Requirements Delivery - working with System of Record data owners (tech and business), CDO Data Executives, information architects and the Data Teach / EDPI platform to ensure consuming application requirements are met to enable strategic data adoption. 3) Data Consumption -manage the efforts at the technical application level for adoption of EDPi data and remove dependency on legacy data sources The Strategic Program Data Sourcing Program Manager will be responsible for creating and managing granular scorecards for tracking and achieving desired milestones by each strategic program and workstream, and will deliver executive presentations for use at the AWM Data Management Council, WM Data Steering Groups, Program and Project Steering Groups, and other executive forums. Key Responsibilities * Program manage the data adoption strategy in Wealth Management focused on technical requirements, planning and data delivery oversight for CWM integration and Managed Accounts Programs as a priority * Develop key metrics and reporting that include key messages, milestones, effectiveness metrics and overall status * Improve technical tools supporting strategic data adoption working with the Data Tech team * Prepare presentations and materials for key stakeholder and senior executive reviews including business and tech steering groups, CDO data program book of work forums, Asset & Wealth Management Data Management Council, AWM Data Governance & Data Quality Governance Forum. * Manage issues escalated by technical and business producers and consumers of data for the programs in focus * Develop and nurture partnerships with key stakeholders including Program Managers, CTOs, Application Owners and Business Managers as applicable Qualifications Desired Experience and Skills * 5-10 years in Financial Services or Consulting in complex program and Stakeholder management * 5+ years of technical program management experience for large-scale initiatives * 5+ or more years of experience in Data Governance covering data strategy execution, and metadata management * Experience working on or managing Wealth Management strategic initiatives, preferably related to Managed Accounts, trading applications and/or Chase Wealth Management * Experience defining and executing strategic technical programs including infrastructure and development efforts using Agile Methodology * Outstanding program management and delivery skills * Ability to conduct independent review and analysis of application level data requirements and data availability in systems of record * Deep experience working with business partners to achieve results through data driven technology solutions. * Demonstrated track record of a high level of personal initiative and leadership, and of setting and achieving challenging goals. * Independent, organized, self-motivated and a team player. * Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills, with a fine attention to detail and ability to present to senior executives * Strong interpersonal leadership, partnership and influencing skills - ability to interact with colleagues at all levels in a peer-like manner and achieve goals without direct control over resources. * Strategic thinker with the ability to quickly define and deconstruct problems leveraging strong analytical and end-to-end problem solving skills. * Possesses excellent judgment, knowing when to escalate complex issues to senior management or functional partners with relevant expertise. * Adaptable to work in an evolving and changeable environment. * Technical knowledge of and experience with Hadoop, SQL, Oracle and Java desired * Advanced skills with the core MS Office suite (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) and standard PM tools; Familiarity with process-mapping tools (e.g. MS Visio, etc.) JPMorgan Chase is an equal opportunity and affirmative action employer Disability/Veteran.
