VP of Sales Apply Scottsdale, AZ Compensation Unspecified Posted 12/21/2018 Apply We are a fast growing real estate analytics company based in Arizona that is looking for a sales leader who can source and close SaaS contracts with institutional owners of multi-family real estate portfolios throughout the United States. This will require selling the value of our solution to prospects by quickly assessing their needs and articulating the value of our market data. You will generate new leads yourself with prospective customers in the multi-family real estate market, and must be confident leading face-to-face meetings to navigate complex enterprise sales with large financial institutions. You will also be working with existing customers to increase their units on our platform. The sales leader best suited for this role should have a proven track record of selling SAAS solution effectively to institutional owners and multi-family real estate portfolio property owners preferably in a start-up environment. This role will start as an individual contributor, but is expected to start and build a sales team after the first 6 months or so. Ideally this role will be based out of our Scottsdale, AZ office. If you have everything we are looking for in this role, we will consider a remote candidate to start. But, as you build your sales team, we really need that team to be based in AZ. What You Will Be Doing * Meet or exceed individual quota, contributing to company sales targets and revenue forecasts * Proactively coordinate, communicate, execute and manage a sales plan that meets and overachieves quota * Individually source and close deals with confidence, though WebEx and face-to-face meetings * Develop a sales pipeline, monthly forecast, and measurable activities * Work with existing customers to increase our footprint within their companies on a national basis. What You Need for this Position * BS or BA, 10+ years' experience in field sales selling SAAS based solutions * Successful track record closing enterprise deals with institutional owners and multi-family real estate portfolio property owners * Sufficient knowledge of multi-family real estate to speak intelligently about how our solution works and can bring value to the customers * Expertise in consultative selling and delivery of highly engaging, personally tailored sales presentations * A genuine interest in building long-term relationships, rather than just achieving quotas * Desire and ability to be part of a fast-paced, high-growth, entrepreneurial team * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills * History of success in building a successful sales team particularly in startup environment. * Very competitive, driven to succeed and overachieve measurable goals.
