Our client, an established Travel Insurance provider with offices based locally in Southend, are looking for confident and energetic people to join their outbound sales team.
As an outbound sales agent you will be calling customers to help them purchase their travel insurance. You will be answering any questions and generally helping them through the process, so that you can ensure they are fully covered for their planned trips and holidays. You will also be calling existing customers who may need help renewing their annual policies and taking payments for any policies that may have had trouble going through the first time. You must be PC literate, have excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to work under pressure and ideally live locally to Southend.
This is a full time permanent position working 37.5 hours per week. This will include some Saturdays working on a 2 week rolling rota basis working Monday to Thursday 9am to 5:30pm and Saturday 9am to 5pm or Monday to Thursday 11:30am to 8pm and Friday 9am to 5:30pm. You will never work more than 2 bank holidays in a year.
The Starting salary is £15,500 per annum. In addition to your basic pay you can work towards a performance related bonus of up to £350 per month (£4200 a year)
Compulsory training will commence on 21st January 2019 and you will be expected to fully commit to a 6 week training course, working Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 5:30pm.
