Service Desk Analyst

Salary: £22,500 (rising to £25,000 after 6 months)

Our client has grown into one of the UK's leading technology service providers with no plans of slowing down. They've helped in delivering and maintaining solutions in partnership with some of the biggest names in technology.

They're looking to bring on board Service Desk Analysts on their technical academy to take responsibility for the management, investigation and resolution of technical issues. The successful candidate will support both the employees of the company and managed services clients based in the company HQ.

Some of your responsibilities will include:

- Provide a customer focused IM&T support service to staff internally and externally
- Deliver a high standard of customer service in a professional manner
- Resolving issues in line with SLAs
- Providing 1st line support and delivering support remotely to resolve incidents to the customer over the phone
- Accurately collate and record all relevant details to facilitate the timely resolution of incidents and service requests
- Completing company training in accordance to your learning and development plan
- Create and maintain infrastructure related documentation, operational policies, IT policies, as required

Starting with other Pareto graduates, you'll not only receive the support and structure of the technical academy, you'll also have access to widely recognised soft skill training and development courses delivered by Pareto throughout your first year. You'll also be put through vendor certifications where relevant, with the company supporting your progression to 2nd and 3rd line support roles.

Service Desk Analyst - package:

- Basic salary of £22.5k (rising to £25k after a 6 month probation)
- Pension contributions

Candidate essentials:

- Bachelor's (or equivalent) in any STEM discipline
- Experience of using and configuring Microsoft Operating Systems
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office Desktop Applications
- The ability to research and independently identify answers and acquire new technical skills
- Customer centric manner with great interpersonal skills
- Ability to translate technical language to a variety of audiences
