The successful candidate will have a proven track reocrd of working as a Field Marketing Manager within Technology and MUST understand the Channel sale and working with partners from within the technology sector.
Exposure at global events/exhibitions and teh confidence and gravitas of hosting more intimate 'round-table' events with a specific target audience is key. Liaising with the US sharing best practice and executing of campaigns/programmes throughout EMEA.
Work with the field and inside sales teams to identify appropriate events and execute against the resulting field marketing plans
Manage all the logistics to run a successful event from start to finish
Liaise with technology partners in supporting the execution of joint marketing campaigns
Effectively measure the results for event and partner campaigns - right down to the pipeline generated
Interact with internal teams - especially the field and channel teams - but also collaborate with the US teams as needed to deliver against objectives
Undertake vendor negotiations and organise suppliers
Budget management to maintain projects within budget and report back on costs and ROI
Assisting in the ordering of new materials, updating materials and disbursement as needed
Maintaining all event & partner communication tools - (url removed) campaigns, Partner Portal, marketing calendars etc.
Actively research, learn and incorporate new means and methods whenever and wherever possible to improve marketing processes
Initiate recommendations to improve marketing and event processes to increase overall efficiencies
3-5 years of experience in a field/events position
Channel marketing experience
Confident in leading and managing multiple projects
Attention to detail, organisational skills, excellent communication, creative problem solving skills and innovative thinking
Experience in using (url removed), Marketo and Netsuite would be desirable
The role requires to have flexibility for travel and on occasion to work outside of normal business hours as needed.
This is a new position and will be based at our offices in Reading, but will include plenty of travel including the US for both on-boarding and annual meetings and specific events within the DACH, Nordic, Iberian, Benelux and UK and Ireland market-place
