We are currently handling a fantastic opportunity for a qualified Spa Therapist in one of Scotland's most picturesque locations. In this role, you will provide wellness therapies and massage treatments to a range of different clients in a stunning setting within an outstanding hotel resort.

About the Job
Your primary responsibilities will be to deliver a variety of spa services including body treatments, massages, facials, waxing and manicure/pedicure. As you would expect with a position of this nature and operating within a top-class resort, you will be expected to maintain equipment to a very high standard, ensuring a clean and well-stocked room, to the highest hygiene, health and safety standards.
You will also be expected to continually update your knowledge on industry best practices to ensure that you are up to speed on market trends and responsive to client queries, needs and expectations. In addition to the technical skills of being a Spa Therapist, you will also be expected to suggest and promote retail products when the opportunity arises, therefore, a good product knowledge and customer awareness will help you be successful in this role. The job will be challenging, but you will have an experienced and brilliant resort team behind you, who will be supportive and encourage you to be part of the wider team.
About the Person
To succeed in this role as Spa Therapist, you will most likely hold an HND/NVQ Level 3 as well as have previous experience working in a similar type of environment. Above all, being passionate about Spa Therapy will be an important attribute as will a positive attitude towards your work and an ability to maintain professionalism. As a Spa Therapist you will be a natural communicator when dealing with different types of people and be sensitive to guests' different needs whilst ensuring the utmost discretion. As a Spa-Therapist a key part of your roles is to understand client retention and part of that is to deliver a high standard of service so that the client will return.
The salary package offers £8.50 per hour for 40 hours per week with 10% commission on product sales. This role, however, is as much a lifestyle decision as it is financial.
