The Role of a Mechanical Field Service Engineer:
As a field service engineer, you will be based around Berkshire and Hertfordshire. You will be tasked with the installation, calibration, PPM, service, and reactive maintenance to a range of metrology and measuring equipment. Despite the electronics inside the equipment; which are easily replaced, the role is very mechanically biased. The nature of the equipment requires reports to be compiled when any work is carried out. Your working hours are primarily Mon-Fri, 37.5 hours per week, with great emphasis on a work life balance. There is a little available overtime and weekend work with no on-call rota.
The Candidate for the Mechanical Field Service Engineer Position:
●You MUST have a strong mechanical understanding and bias
●Previous field service experience
●You will have a stable employment track record
●Have good customer service skills
●Mechanical engineers from the Armed Forces are advised to apply
●Prior equipment experience IS NOT required
●An easy going nature to fit in with the rest of the team
●A full UK driving licence
●You must have right to work in the UK

The Package for a Mechanical Field Service Engineer:
●A basic salary of up to £30,000 depending on experience (potential for higher with industry experience)
