Description 2M Research has an immediate opening for a VP/Senior Director to lead its newly created "Health Services Research Innovation Center." The position will be responsible for expanding 2M's portfolio of work with its HHS clients, in particular, CMS and AHRQ. The Senior Director will be responsible for leading, directing, and coordinating health services research studies related to healthcare system performance, price and cost trends in the healthcare markets, healthcare services use and patterns, health economics, and healthcare finance. The appropriate candidate is a proven leader with demonstrated success in managing and leading large-scale contract studies in the area of health service research and healthcare innovation for government agencies. Requirements Proven track record of providing technical leadership to senior and junior research staff Proven track record of successful business development capture with federal agencies Excellent project management skills Excellent research methodology skills Proven ability to recruit, hire, and retain top-notch health services research talent Proven experience writing client memos, research briefs, and analytic reports Proven ability to lead, and assist with, contract proposals and provide pricing input Health services research experience in the life sciences industry is a plus Proven ability to foster relationships with teaming partners and government personal Previous experience with research pertaining to Medicaid policies and programs and working with claims data MD or PhD in Health Services Research, Health Economics, Epidemiology, Biostatistics, or related field.
