They will also own messaging for the Security Operating Platform overall. This person will be a leader across the marketing organization, reporting to and partnering closely with the SVP of Network Security Marketing. Essential Responsibilities: This person will partner across marketing, and with sales and product management, to drive pipeline growth and conversion. They will be accountable for crafting strategy and guiding execution of all aspects of outbound marketing, including: * Product positioning and messaging * Industry thought leadership * Target customer definition * Competitive strategy and tactics * Engagement with industry analysts * Channel approach * Promotional strategy Qualifications/Requirements: * Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering or related field of study * Minimum of 10 years of related experience with proven track record of developing, driving and implementing marketing strategies. * Minimum 6 years' experience leading a team and influencing in a globally matrix environment. * Minimum 2 years' experience in Network Security Desired Characteristics: * Self-directed with a proven ability to drive results in a fast paced, highly adaptive and agile environment * High-energy with a passion for working in a global matrix organization across diverse teams and cultures. * Strong verbal presentation and written communication skills. * Strong aptitude for teaching, coaching, mentoring and managing to drive results. * Compelling leader who will attract talent on the team. * High integrity and team player Please interview to assess ability to address these critical success factors/responsibilities: * Lead the team to create compelling, highly differentiated product positioning and messaging theallows Palo Alto Networks to define and dominate a category * Drive a strategy across the products that meets or exceeds, pipeline, bookings and conversion targets. * Manage the team to consistently meet commitments with high quality deliverables and scalable processes that can be sustained over time.
