Serve as a human resources expert by providing advice and counsel to assigned client organizations regarding human resources issues and programs. Conduct investigations, develop solutions, present recommendations and influence management decisions. Research, analyze, develop, and implement new strategies, programs, and processes in response to changing internal and external conditions. Responsibilities * Provide consultation to management regarding HR strategies, products, services, and processes. * Partner with management and other HR representatives on all aspects of human resources, including but not limited to recruitment, interviewing, selection, employee relations, performance management, compensation, benefits, disability, workforce planning, organizational design, and policy review. * Establish and maintain effective working relationships with assigned client groups. Proactively identify issues and participate in the implementation of problem-solving strategies with assigned client groups and human resources staff. * Serve as an employee advocate to assigned client groups and as an advisor and mentor to other human resources professionals. * Conduct special studies, investigations, and analyses and present findings and recommendations to peers and management. * Research, analyze, develop, and implement new strategies, programs, and/or processes in response to changing internal and external conditions. * Communicate with and educate management and other stakeholders on industry, legal, and business best practices and changes. * Provide advice and counsel to management and client organizations regarding human resources related issues. * Provide clients with data and risk analysis as well as operational strategies to address human resources issues including equal employment opportunity, affirmative action, diversity, equity and inclusion. * Investigate and evaluate complex employee relations situations, develop creative alternatives, and provide recommendations. Respond to and investigate complaints to the company's ethics hotline. Requirements * Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource management, Industrial Relations, or a related field; or the equivalent combination of education and experience. * A minimum of seven years of experience in Human Resources. * Thorough knowledge of federal, state, and local government employment laws and regulation. * Ability to conduct investigations to ensure fair assessment of outcomes and consistent policy application across the company. * Ability to independently prioritize assignments and respond to rapidly changing priorities. * Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with all levels of employees which establish trust, maintain confidence, and understand social behavior and interactions. * Knowledge of research, analysis, and consulting techniques. * Project management and leadership skills. * Experience speaking in front of employee groups including presenting and conducting training sessions. * Program design skills including development of interventions, processes, or new or modified programs to meet customer needs. * Proficient with the use of personal computers and associated software to gather, analyze, and summarize data. * Ability to work with all organizational levels to influence actions and negotiate outcomes. * Some travel is required.
