Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) Posting Title Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) . Location CO - Golden . Position Type Regular . Hours Per Week 40 . Job Summary The HR Business Partner (HRBP) develops and implements integrated solutions related to all HR matters supporting all lines of business and upper management. The position serves as a trusted advisor proactively engaging with all levels of management and staff to influence and positively impact the organization by identifying resources and formulating/presenting actionable recommendations for leadership consideration. This position provides leaders with coaching, consultation and guidance regarding effective management of people, structure, organization effectiveness and workforce planning. The position formulates strategic partnerships across the Laboratory and within HR to deliver value-added services to management and employees which align to the business objectives of the organization. Responsibilities: *Provides guidance and input on business unit restructures, workforce planning and succession planning *Consults with all levels of line management, providing HR guidance *Analyzes trends and metrics to develop solutions, programs and policies *Manages and resolves complex employee relations issues. Conducts effective, thorough and objective investigations *Maintains in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance and partners with the legal department as needed/required *Provides day-to-day performance management guidance to management (e.g., coaching, counseling, career development, and disciplinary actions) *Works closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention *Provides HR policy guidance and interpretation *Participates in evaluation, monitoring and delivery of training programs Required Basic Qualifications: Education option one: A bachelor's degree in human resources related field such as psychology, business, organizational development, human resources; and a minimum of nine years of experience in business or human resources related work; Education option two: A master's degree in human resources related field (above) and a minimum of seven years experience in business or human resources related work Education option four: A doctoral degree in Human resources related field (above) a minimum of four years of experience in business or human resources related work. Additional Qualifications: Working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines, including compensation practices, organizational diagnosis, employee and union relations, diversity, performance management, and federal and state employment laws. . Required Education, Experience, and Skills Relevant Bachelor's Degree and 9 or more years of experience or equivalent relevant education/experience. Or, relevant Master's Degree and 7 or more years of experience or equivalent relevant education/experience. Or, relevant PhD and 4 or more years of experience or equivalent relevant education/experience. Or, relevant JD and 4 or more years of experience or equivalent relevant education/experience. Applies extensive technical expertise, and has full knowledge of other related disciplines. Contributes to the development of new concepts, techniques and standards. Considered internal subject matter expert. Extensive knowledge of laws, regulations, principles, procedures and practices related to specific field. Excellent leadership, project management and problem solving skills. Ability to use various computer software programs. . Preferred Qualifications * Minimum of nine years' experience resolving complex employee relations issues. * Certification in conflict resolution and/or SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) credential or ability to obtain certification within two years of employment. * Experience working with government contractor regulations. .
