ROR Nuclear Receptor Signaling and Transcriptional Regulation

Position Description:

A postdoctoral position is available to study the molecular mechanisms by which members of the ROR subfamily of transcription factors regulate gene transcription in order to understand their regulation of several physiological processes and roles in disease, including metabolic syndrome and diabetes. We use a combination of tools, including ChIP-Seq, RNA-Seq, ATAC-Seq, CRISPR genome editing and mouse genetics, to study the role of these transcription factors in metabolism, differentiation, and disease. Education, training, experience:

Qualifications:

Applicants should have a Ph.D. in biological sciences with less than 4 years postdoctoral experience. A strong background in molecular and cellular biology and transcriptomics is desired. Excellent communication skills and fluency in both spoken and written English are essential.
