A Research Fellow is being sought with experience in image processing and machine learning/deep learning in the Department of Radiology at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. Although a Ph.D. degree is preferred, consideration will be given to those with other doctoral degrees with related experience. The ideal candidate will have previous experience applying machine learning methods to find important diagnostic and therapeutic features in the images. The focus of this will be primarily in the development of deep learning algorithms written in Python.

A Research Fellow at Mayo Clinic is a temporary position intended to provide training and education in research. Individuals will train in the research program of a Mayo Clinic principal investigator. Qualified individuals will demonstrate the potential for research as evidenced by their training and peer-reviewed publications and should become competitive for national research grants.
